Hello,
Would working as a medical assistant be a good way to gain clinical experience for medical school while i got to college part-time?

Any job that provides direct patient contact will provide clinical experience for a med school application.
If your job as a medical assistant does that–great! If the job entail is largely or only paperwork/office work (like answering phones, scheduling, filing charts, etc), then it’s not clinical experience.
If by good you mean “does it count/is it adequate” then, assuming it means being in the room with patients, it is definitely good.
If by good you mean “does it give me a leg up over others” then no, it’s not good.
