Hello,
First of all I would like to thank you for reading this thread, then without further ado I will elaborate my question.I am an international student from Brazil which suffered from a medical condition that harmed strongly my learning process until my high school senior.
In my senior year in high school my condition was not affecting me anymore,In the same year I already have filled the gaps in knowledge and already had taken classes online in college level topics.
So the core of my question is can I enter a good college in the US with my low GPA accumulated over those years?
Depends upon which schools you are targeting and if you need financial aid.
I do not need any financial aid and I am willing to undergo a less competitive undergraduate program to build a high GPA in order to go to an highly competitive graduate program.
There are over 4000 colleges in the US. I suggest you plug in your GPA and other stats into the Supermatch feature on this website and start looking at schools that are listed. You need to have SAT/ACT scores and Toefl if instruction was not in English. This will be a starting point unless you post more information, CC posters will be unable to give you any direction in college choices. I would also need to address your medical condition in one of your college essays.
