Enter the total amount withheld or to be withheld from your parents’ wages in 2014 to contribute to a flexible spending account for medical expenses.

Do I find this information on W2 forms? There is a section called “Medicare tax withheld” not sure if that is the same thing?

Medicare tax withheld and FSA contributions are different things. Not everyone contributes to a flexible spending account, so this may not apply to your parents depending on their specific health care plan.

If your parents contribute to an FSA, the amount could be in box 14 but I don’t think employers are necessarily required to put it there. Ask your parents if they contribute to a medical FSA.

ETA: If your parents are contributing to an FSA it should be shown in the pre-tax section of their paystubs.

You need to ask your parents for that information. The money is usually not mentioned on the W-2 because it is not reported as income…the IRS is unaware of that money changing hands from employer to employee to FSA account.
