medical school

which sends more to medical school, UCLA or Cal?

umm i honestly dont thikn that matters because they’re both great schools and on a graduate level there really is no difference. what you should really be worried about is doing well in either of those schools and working hard to send YOURSELF into med school. hahah. :D

The AAMC reports that UCLA sends far more medical school applicants than Cal (UCLA sends the most medical school applicants in the nation). I don’t know about admission rates, though, since they’re not published to the best of my knowledge. However, given this wide margin in sheer numbers, it’s safe to assume that more UCLA students are sent to medical school.

UCLA: 744
UCB: 574

gooosh it’s so weird… like 3/4 of my LS1 demo class is pre-med.

and i bet the other 1/4 are pre-health. :D

and I bet a total of 1/5 will go on to medical school, when it’s all said and done.

Even if UCLA is less successful on a number of successful entrants to applicants ratio, they’re pretty successful. Either school will probably be as successful statistically.

I think that both schools have around 50-60% acceptance rate. So you do the math. :)

ucla has more making it in, but ucla also has the most applying
