My son recieved a 4 year nrotc scholarship the other day, but he still is medically disqualified. He got the waiver from the air force academy, West Point and never got the appointment for Naval academy so they never looked into giving him a waiver. Has anyone gotten a waiver for nrotc? I read the medical information goes to Washington instead of out to Colorado.

I know they give medical waivers to NROTC. Several mids in my unit didn’t get medically cleared until a couple of weeks into the academic year. They were only limited in that they couldn’t PT with the battalion, and had to do it on their own.

At the risk of sounding stupid, but what does PT stand for :)))). Thanks

PT is physical training
