this is the stanford forum. people know what “mediocore” means.

no offence but…even ur extracurriculars dont seem THAT impressive.

I got into Stanford with a 3.6 GPA and 2010 SAT

You really need to provide more info on your extra curricular but if they are extremely stellar and you show passion in them then you have a good shot

well at least he’s got a 35 ACT, though that’s the kind of score range expected for a place like Stanford.

You seem to be interested in computer sciences/programming. If you show your passion in them through your essays and it stands out, I’d say you have a chance. Also, if there were any extenuating circumstances affecting your grades make sure to explain that in additional info or essays too.

And I agree with Batllo, you should definitely be applying to a lot of safeties too.

I hope you applied to safeties.
Unfortunately, I think that you have little to no chance of getting in with your GPA.
Your EC’s are good, but not stellar by any stretch.
I know someone who is going to State U with 2 of your 3 EC’s, except that they are the student Webmaster for the entire high school (which has a VERY elaborate website)
Good luck though.

Remember Stanford doesn’t include your freshman grades in your GPA calculation. Hopefully that will bring your GPA up. Stellar ECs are hard to come by-generally it means something that has garnered you recognition at least at the state level, if not regional or national.
