Mediocre SAT II scores...

I got 620 the last time I took the Chem SAT II. I already sent this score to my colleges.

Then after I applied, I e-mailed my colleges and told them I’d be sending additional SAT II scores from December.

I got 610 on Chem this time -_____-

Should I still send this score to my colleges?

*And how bad is a 600 in Math II for USC/pharmacy programs?

Anyone? Bump

Of course not. It won’t help you and it’ll cost you money. Colleges may assume your more recent scores are lower, but at least you don’t have to pay to let them know that.

I guess I’ll be using score choice then. ARGH but a 600 in math II is horrible…how badly is this going to affect me for pharmacy programs?

Have you taken the ACT? If so, submit just that, so colleges don’t see your SAT II scores. 600 in Math II doesn’t look too good for pharmacy programs, since a significant percentage get 800. You might also consider applying for a different major, and if you want, you can switch out later (though maybe you’ll discover an interest in something other than pharmacology).

I’m in a similar boat; my II’s are relatively low.
740 Math II (well ok this one’s not particularly bad), 650 USH, 600 French w/ Listening.
Funny, I got a 5 on AP US. Also, I have a reputation as being the best or among the best at French in my school. :/

I’m the same way, honors centaur! I’m one of the best in my ap French class and all of my previous teachers have recognized my talent; but I got a 600 then a 630 retake on French without listening…

While we’re at this-I didn’t use score choice before to send my SAT/SAT II scores, but now, should I use score choice to send them JUST my recent subject test scores? Or send them the whole thing again?

*everyone here get what I’m saying?

ds143: did you submit the score to Cornell?
Haha I’ve had entire conversations with people from France and French teachers; they’ve all said I’m incredible at French. It’s not like I’m a bad test taker either, oh well whateva lol
