I applied to Yale SCEA, and I was just wondering if not so great SAT IIs would equal an automatic rejection, even if the rest of your application is pretty good. My counselor told me that she thought I had a good chance of getting in, because of my unique situation. My GPA/SAT I scores/ECs/leadership/awards are also good, so I thought I had a shot. But my SAT II scores are mediocre (750 and 690)–and my first m.p. grades weren’t stellar (two Bs!!..though in the past, my grades were all As)–so now I’m kind of expecting a rejection letter within a couple weeks. ='(

750 is fine for an sat ii 690 isnt so hot but on the other hand if it was a harder subject that might make a difference idk for sure but whats done is done right?

and if the b’s are in advanced classes i dont think itll matter that much but if they are in normal classes thats a bad thing

I know this is prob 2 late, but if you take the act you dont have to send sat 2’s

The 690 I scored for US History, which was taken my freshman year. The two Bs are for two AP courses…yeah, I guess what makes the US History worse is that I had expected a higher score the second time I took it, since first time was 690. But it turns out that I actually scored 10 points lower the second time… o_O
