Mediocre Student from Good School

First of all, I have a pretty horrible GPA, at least by CC standards, but I come from a challenging school with no weighted grades and despite my grades I estimate that I am in the top 15%. The past few valedictorians from my school have had 4.0’s and there is nobody in my class with a 4.0.

GPA: 3.48
Weighted GPA: n/a

SAT 1: CR-750, M-660, W-650, Combined-2060 (my goal is a 2150)
SAT 2: Chemistry-650

AP Chem-4
I am taking AP Calc AB, AP Bio, AP Music Theory, and AP US History next year.

I am part of a Selective Womens Ensamble, a World Music Choir (one of the founders), and an a cappella group.
I play softball and volleyball (will not continue either in college)
I will be a leader of a Russian Language group at my school next year.
100+ hours volunteering at local library.

This is really basic, but I don’t want to list anymore right now.

Colleges:
Davidson (possibly ED)
Claremont McKenna (possibly ED)
Harvey Mudd
Oberlin
Tufts
Reed
Scripps
University of the Pacific
Juniata College
University of Puget Sound

HMC won’t like your SAT scores or GPA. Average SAT at Mudd a bit above 2200, and over 90% of the students there were in the top 10% of their class. The school places a lot of weight on these things it seems, so chances aren’t terribly hopeful. The rest of them I don’t know much about.

Juniata, Puget Sound, and UPacific will be the only non-reach schools. Good luck! :)

Bump…anybody else?

I am also going to add:
Santa Clara University
Loyola Marymount
Occidental
