I am travelling from Chicago to Columbus and would need to carry 2 bags of 62 inches, one roller carry-on bag(approx. 43 inches) and one laptop bag. I have bought one ticket and doubt that they would allow me to travel with this luggage on it. Is the second ticket really required? Even if I buy another ticket, would they allow the roller carry-on(approx. 42 inches)?
They have a luggage section under the passenger cabin. There should be plenty of room to put your luggage there. What does the ticket say for baggage allowance? I’ve only taken the Megabus between DC and NYC, and most people had no luggage.
They allow a large bag(62 inches) and a carry-on bag(that can fit under the seat or overhead cabin) on one ticket. I shall buy two tickets, but even then I don’t know if they will allow my roller carry-on bag of 42 inches(length+breadth+height).
