MEM and Electrical Engineering?

Degrees Offered at Pratt | Engineering at Duke University, Pratt School

I saw this program called 4+1 to get Masters of Science and Bachelor’s in five years…

Does anyone know about this and how Engineering Management program is like in Duke???

I’d like to apply to Duke Pratt (possibly ED), and I want to see what the program is really about and if it’s a safe degree for future job markets…

And how prestigious is EE in Duke?? Compared to UCLA??

You don’t get a “master of science” degree (an academic degree) with that program. You get a “master of engineering management” degree (a professional degree).

EE is better at UCLA than at Duke, but Duke is still great school.

What’s the difference between an academic master’s degree and a professional master’s degree?
