I do not post all that often here but I recognize that there are a lot of wise parents on this forum so perhaps someone can help. A good friend is having trouble with her teenage daughter (HS senior)–some typical teen stuff but a complicating factor is that her husband recently left for Iraq and will likely be gone for two years (not military–a private industry job). It was a great opportunity money-wise but the daughter is not coping well–perhaps testing the mom, perhaps just angry that dad is gone and adjusting to the changes this has meant in the family schedule. There are younger children, one with special needs, and maybe teen daughter feels they are getting more attention.

ANyway, my friend is looking for a referral to a psychologist in the Memphis area who is good with teens/young adults. Anyone know of such a person?
