I was forced to withdraw from a school and I was wondering if it would be better to mention it on RD apps or not. The reason for why I had to withdraw was for repeated behavior that could’ve hurt the school’s image. It was not related to academic dishonesty, violence, drugs, etc. It is highly unusual.
It happened on the last day of my fall term and I was wondering if I could simply put family issues, which is also valid because I am now doing online school because I had to come back home regardless of the disciplinary issues.
It would appear that I left the school on the last day of the fall term because of family issues. If I mentioned the discipline, I feel as if I would have a 100% rejection rate. If I didn’t, and I understand there are future consequences, it will be a 50/50, as they would only know if they contacted my previous school. My current school would support me. My previous school is a nonreporting school and it does not appear on my transcript and prior students have gotten into Berkeley with suspensions/expulsions.
What do you think I should do? My future seems destroyed. I am aiming for HYPSM and all the t20s.
