Mentioning Quotegate in Essay

Is this a wise idea? I mean, Lavine isn’t read these essays himself, so an admissions officer won’t just throw out my essay once I start treading into this territory, right?

I would avoid anything that serves as somewhat of an embarrassment to the university if you can.

But what if I’m commending Medill for remaining objective even in a time when their own integrity is at stake?

Still probably no – and I would even argue they haven’t been that objective. Its not really a big deal and highly unlikely to really break anything (OH, thats the kid who mentioned QUOTEGATE), but I feel like there is probably just as a good way to express what you want in another way.

NO. I’m in Medill. Trust me. It’s not a good idea

Haha. Okay.
