Merit Aid at Georgia Tech and UNC-Chapel Hill?

<p>Hey guys. . .I'm applying tonight for Georgia Tech to make the presidential scholarship deadline. I'm also considering applying to UNC - Chapel Hill, but I just wanted to ask you guys about my chances for merit aid at the two schools.</p>

<p>Tech is pretty much a safety, and Chapel Hill I think is a match at this point. I think I'll get in.</p>

<p>Stats:
SAT: 1460 (700V/760M)</p>

<p>Unweighted GPA: 3.92</p>

<p>Toughest Courseload, International Baccalaureate Diploma Candidate
AP Spanish V, AP Latin IV, IB Math Higher Level, AP Calculus BC, IB Engilsh (HL), IB Chemistry II, IB World Area Studies (HL), IB Theory of Knowledge.</p>

<p>Rank: 3/364</p>

<p>ECs: worked with Tech professor for Siemens Westinghouse, Film Club founder + pres, lit club pres, national honor society pres, math spanish and latin honor societies, math team, model UN, museum archival work. </p>

<p>Some great writing awards and essay contests won as well.</p>

<p>Well. . .sent my app in, applying as an undecided engineer. Wish me luck guys. I know I'll get in, but I hope I get qualified for that presidential scholarship (though I'd prefer to go out of state).</p>
