Merit Aid Plus Mock Trial and/or Moot Court

Not sure whether to post this here or college search & selection, but I’ll try here first.

We are looking for a college that offers good merit aid, preferably based on test score and/or GPA, and also offers mock trial and /or moot court. Open to any state, prefers a mid-size campus at minimum. Not sure on major yet - interests are law but not certain of intentions on law school and poli-sci.

I would suggest that your child find other reasons to seek an undergrad college. Law school is a 95% numbers game; EC’s only matter at the smaller schools like Yale and Stanford. Thus, Mock Trial and/or Moot court undergrad activities will mean zero for law school apps. (How can one really particulate in a mock/moot with not even one course in law is beyond me.)

But if your kid it the argumentative type, how about colleges with great Debate clubs/programs? Plenty of those to go around, and they have local/regional/national competitions.

fwiw: any major will do for law school, as long as the student can rack up A’s, and lots of 'em. Again, its all about GPA+LSAT.
