We applied in September 2023 for nursing (BSN), accepted in October (OOS), GPA: 4.0 uw; 4.6 w, SAT 1480. Got into Honors and 5k/year merit a couple of days ago. I was wondering, has anyone received an invite for the Chancellorâs scholarship event? Is this yearâs delayed?

Student still couldnât get into document center last night, but received email this morning and it somehow worked. Accepted to honors. OOS for CS. 1520, 4.0 UW, tons of rigor. Received merit award in the fall.
Attended admitted students day today for Swanson. We were all impressed!

My understanding is the students that were selected for Chancellorâs scholarship interview are notified in early February and interviews are in March so those should have been notified by now.
D24 got accepted to Honors. Dietrich Arts and Sciences, undeclared, OOS. No merit so far.

Unfortunately, all merit is given out by March 1, so the merit review and distribution process is now complete.
Pitt without merit will make it challenging for us financially but hearing good things about the honors program. Have acceptances from other schools with honors and merit so we may have to look elsewhere.
Can anyone confirm that the Chancellorâs invitations have been sent this year?

After basically checking daily for months, my son got an email that we had a document in the doc center. Hoped for some merit but it was just the notice that he had NOT made it into Honors.
His brother S18 got $15k merit. Canât swing it if S24 gets zero.
Nothing we can do. If we are paying full board, he doesnât want to be 6 hrs away.
Based on past years, I believe it was usually within a small number of days after Honors.

DD just got an email saying she had unopened items in her document center. An award of $10k/year ($40k total), in a letter dated mid-December (!) and FHC honors college designation dated 2/28. She had not received any email notices of these things at any point prior. Good thing they sent out that new email!

Hi guys! Chancellors Interview decisions will 100% be out by the end of this week. Scholarship committee still needs to meet two more times.
