<p>Purdue’s website said the criteria for certain awards are good academic achievement and leadership experience.

  1. So could any one expand these two aspects.
  2. How many international students get merit aid from Purdue and what was the avg amount received?</p>

<p>Purdue’s scholarships are not available to undergrad int’l students.</p>

<p>I am an undergraduate student.
But in another thread I saw posts saying that Purdue have “loads” of scholarships to international students. I was surprised because I assumed that public universities do not give any kind of aid to international students. So I wanted to confirm it.</p>

<p>On Purdue’s undergrad scholarship page, it says:</p>

<p>Only domestic students are eligible for the scholarships described above</p>

<p>there are some publics that will give merit scholarships to int’ls, but Purdue isnt’ one of them.</p>

I don’t know if those scholarships mentioned are for undergraduate international students or not.</p>
