Hi, I was wondering what my merit aid chances would be at the following schools. If the school has a big, separate scholarship I already applied and was denied for them.

34 ACT
2140 SAT
3.95 UW GPA
5 AP Classes, additional self-study tests (only 5 offered at HS)
3 sports, all varsity/4 yrs
Many community service/extracurricular clubs
Good recommendations

Boston U, George Washington, Washington University in St. Louis, Univ. of Chicago, Univ. of Southern California, UCLA, UC Berkeley, University of North Carolina, University of Pittsburgh, Tulane, Vanderbilt
For UC OOS full pay is 55k, run the NPC and don’t expect any merit, they don’t give much. Univ of Chicago is very hard to get merit from, they are mostly need based aid. I guess you will get your admissions and aid within the month so no point guessing.
If you’ve already been denied for the big scholarships then I think the schools listed that meet need will do that and that will be all. I hope you have a safety you can afford and would be happy to attend.
You haven’t got an offer from Tulane? Were you EA deferred? Have you been checking gibson? They have been giving offers recently to high stats deferrals by the sound of the Tulane threads. Which is your safety school? I assume you must have Ohio as a backup?

how much merit do you need? I hope you applied to some schools that FOR SURE will give you large merit if that’s what you needed.
Your problem is that while you have very good stats, you’re expecting merit from some top schools who have students with higher scores…washU, UChi, Vandy, UCB, USC, UCLA, etc
