When do we find out if we are merit scholars?

Semifinalist notifications get mailed to principals tomorrow, Commended notifications get mailed to them in four weeks.

If you got above a 220 you should know that you are a merit scholar for sure.

Not necessarily. Last year’s cutoff in a few states (I think Massachusetts, Maryland, and DC) was 222, leaving the 221 and 220 scorers out of luck.

Does anyone have a list of last years cut offs?

I’ve seen on National Merit cutoffs: http://www.collegeconfidential.com/cgi-bin/discus/show.cgi?70/87772

So last year 200 was the nationwide cutoff for Commended?

The link below gives info for the 2005 Program (people who took PSATs in 2003). For 2006 Program cutoffs by state, and information on the 2007 Program (the one Semifinalist mailings went out on to principals today), see:

Good luck!
