I’ve read that you should submit a resume to get a merit scholarship, but where do you submit it, in the personal essay section? Thanks so much yall!

Your stats are really good for a merit scholarship, and it helps that you’re from Texas! I definitely think you’ll be in the running for a full-tuition (you’re automatically UHC eligible). If you haven’t–SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION!

Turn everything in ASAP, also have some letters of rec sent in. Make sure you turn in an essay-- don’t turn in a generic “Why Pitt” essay, write about something that really means something to you.

After you submit the main application, you should get an application number. Then you can email your resume directly to OAFA and reference your application number so that they will put it together. The key is to apply early-- admissions have already started sending out acceptances so go apply!

Ok, thanks so much! I have my essay written out, I wrote it about my experience in band. I’m going to send it in today. Thank you so much!
