<p>I believe I heard official/official notification is in March, but I heard “unofficial/official” notification is in the fall for merit/non departmental. For people who applied early when did they receive notification in “the fall”?</p>
<p>My son, who is now a college sophomore, heard that he had full tuition two or so weeks after being accepted.</p>
<p>If I remember correctly…the letters were received around Nov/Dec timeframe. My boys applied in Aug/Sept time frame.</p>
<p>The fall notification is really official…it’s signed by the university. The spring notification is mostly a repeat and request to accept. The spring notification may also include some extra scholarships from depts, alumni, etc.</p>
