A note, though, guys- please do not send large volumes of extraneous material to supplement your application; it is really not necessary at all to send in information to boost your chances, as the strongest portions of your application looked at will be the materials involved in the application proper. If you have an additional essay that you think really defines you, or were recently published in a scientific journal, won a major award, etc, please feel free to update us with this information- but please do not feel pressure to send in a number of extra essays or the entirety of everything you’ve ever done in order to boost your chances.</p>
