<p>What don’t you understand? You can apply to get into the honors program after your Freshman year, if you have the grades. But there are two components to the Honors program (which I am guessing you are not familiar with). First, the Honors-only dorm for Freshman year (and grouped living in subsequent years but not the way it is in Freshman) and Honors programs. Second, there’s the Honors degree that you get for taking some number of Honors classes and doing some other academic work (a thesis, I think, but not positive).</p>
<p>The deadline for being in the Honors program for your freshman year was 12/1.</p>
