Merit Scholarships for Out-of-state Students?

I am a resident of TN and am thinking about Michigan. Does it offer any merit scholarships to its entering class who come from out of the state? If so, do any of these cover full tuition or are any of these full ride scholarships?

I live in Ohio and I received a $10,000 Jean Fairfax Scholarship. I am not sure if any cover full tuition or not, however.

I’m from Illinois and I got a Stamps Scholarship for 10,000 a year which immediately qualified me for the Joseph Schwinck Scholarship for another 5,000 a year and then a LSA Departmental Scholarship of 5000 per year as well…which adds up to 20,000. That combined with 5,000 in grant money and another 20,000 in loans and work study made it possible for me to accept. I have not heard of any scholarships that give full rides to OOS students :frowning:

I applied early…but I did not get notice of my scholarship awards until the end of March…and I did not accept the offer of admission until the end of April. Idk if any of that changes things though.
