<p>It was nice to see our all grown up 25 yr old son so enthused over his Lands End waterproof snow boots! He has a job and some money now but would never think to spend some on such a mundane item…he’s been managing fine with low cut adidas sneakers since age 12 or so. I had stopped trying to get him to wear boots, it was just a waste of money. NOw, I guess boots are not so dorky anymore. He’s clumping around the house in his boots seems like he’ll wear them to bed tonite. Funny.</p>

<p>Pleased that I guessed right and don’t have to hassle with a return.</p>

<p>Great image, music mom - I can just imaging the clomping around. Our tween got ‘bootie clogs’ (there’s a great sale online at Lands End, and they are darling boots!!) and I purposely bought the next size up, but she loves them so much she insists they fit just fine and is clomping around here, too.</p>

<p>Merry Christmas to all!! D is enjoying her new Kindle Fire and is looking forward to a " day off" on Tuesday. Christmas is a really busy time for a singer , but she’s grateful to be earning good money doing something she loves…</p>

<p>Our “glorious mess” is still on the living room floor at 11:00 pm, for the cats’ sake. They’re still pouncing around in the mountain of tissue paper.</p>

<p>I just cleaned up ours. The cats surely had a ton of fun with it! They dragged a good part of the mess into the kitchen during the night - I guess they were looking for traces of “kitty pot” which they got from our friend. :)</p>
