<p>And about when does the weather turn cold enough that you need the heavier coats vs. just sweatshirts/sweaters?</p>

<li><p>You need a heavy coat. Winter is cold and lasts from December - March. It’s snowed in April before.</p></li>

<p>You need a heavy coat about thanksgiving, if you are going home for thanksgiving or fall break you could bring it back with you then, just be sure to bring a bunch of fleeces, sweatshirts, and lighter jackets because it can get cold earlier.</p>
