Today I checked my Naviance account, and I saw that a college that had waitlisted me had requested me to communicate with them. The last time I checked was on Monday, and I definitely did not have that message at that point. I also had declined the offer to remain on the waitlist last Thursday. Any idea why they would request communication with me now or how communication with colleges on Naviance works (never been contacted before)? In case it’s helpful, this is a small liberal arts college with <30% acceptance rate where I showed no interest.
So what is the issue? You already declined their waitlist offer.
@texaspg I never said there was an issue. I asked if anyone knew if there was any particular reason. It seems strange to me or maybe like a mistake.
The colleges set up a naviance connection based on your application more than your status. They probably triggered the connection request with a whole bunch of people.
