Messed up transcript with a good rank

<p>A very competitive school, I managed to be in top 5 per.
My lowest grade is a B- from sport, but i have many B+s throughout my transcript.
… Grade deflation. which results in a bad GPA.
unweighted: 3.76 weighted: 3.85</p>

<p>Will a high SAT score (2350+) help me out?
Also, counselor’s recommendation stating grade deflation and the rigorous workload.

<p>Your GPA is kind of low, but SAT’s are good. Grades are one thing, but the SATs are kind of like the ‘universal’ test which really helps them determine how good of a student you are compared to others.
But still, a 3.75 will do decent at t25 schools.
Then again, you haven’t factored in letters of rec, essays, or EC’s</p>
