Methodist University-Fayetteville, North Carolina

Any info or experiences about Methodist University-Fayetteville, North Carolina would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Oh come on…nobody knows anything about this college? I know it is small…

I know one student who attended to play varsity soccer. He left after 1 year and returned to his home-state’s flagship. I know he found it too isolated and was not happy there.

It is a nice little college; I know a few people that go/went there but I’ve never asked them about it. They seemed pretty happy though. Good golf team also.

Fayetteville is a terrible terrible town to live in.

Disagree. Fayetteville has a lot of beautiful areas, a low cost of living, great weather, and is in a nice location. It is a great place to raise a family, but I wouldn’t rate it as too much of a college town.

Resurrecting a year-old thread. Anyone have any new information on this school? My golfer husband loves this area of North Carolina.

The honors program here sounds like it would only appeal to students who are interested in classics. http://www.methodist.edu/academics/pdfs/honors_reading.pdf
