<p>PNW CC’ers: I would appreciate any recommendations for places to stay/eat 2-3 nights in the Methow late June. I know Seattle well, have skied/hiked extensively in the Cascades, but never spent much time in the Methow (no $ back then). Looking for casual non-resort-y place. D’s will want to ride, W and I will go day hiking. Thinking about a loop - out on North Cascades Highway, back over Stevens Pass. Thanks!</p>

<p>If you don’t get any personal recommendations from someone who has been there - Craigslist has cabin rentals listed.
My only experience was at Sun Mountain, but it’s probably too “resort-y” for what you want. They do have cabins down by the lake (about a 10 minute walk from the hotel) that are pretty laid back but still pricey. Small boat rentals, horses, hiking trails… if it’s not too packaged for your taste it’s lovely. The cabins are all re-built in the last several years and quite nice. Logs, field-stone fireplaces, etc.</p>
