Metro PCS at UCLA

<p>Anybody have experience with Metro PCS at UCLA? I"m thinking about getting it; it’s way cheaper than other plans.</p>

<p>Do not get Metro PCS. The coverage was so bad I could barely make phone calls. And you’ll get dropped calls all the time. </p>

<p>I’ve had a much better experience with StraightTalk. It’s supposed to run off the Verizon network. It’s cheap too. I pay $30/month for 1000 minutes and texts a month. For $45 you can get unlimited minutes and texts.</p>

<p>As far as I know MetroPCS doesn’t carry anything like the iPhone. And yeah…it’s not good for data. If you want the bells and whistles (anything besides talk and text) you’re better off with the major companies.</p>
