I have seen real quick CCAD and illustration works on the walls were commercial-y good. Is that what she wants, or more conceptual approach?
I have never been to Wisconsin but met MIAD alum who worked at PNCA admission who did stint at NYC before moving to Portland. All in comparison, she said she did not miss out anything by compromising to stay close to home and took scholarship money, because UG is just a starting point.
visit again if you can and count money, let her choose.
