A little over a month ago I found out I was accepted into Miami University. I later found out that I received an annual merit scholarship at Miami University of $17,500 (In-state tuition). Obviously that will make it a good price to go to Miami and I am planning on attending next fall for Spanish Education. I told my teaching professions teacher this (he goes to Miami a lot for my class) and he told me the Miami Education department also is awarding Special and Spanish Education Majors additional scholarships. I will find out Mid-March how much I will receive in other scholarships, but I was wondering how much education departments usually award their students for intended majors or if that was already included in the merit scholarship?
