Michael Jackson is Dead

Michael Jackson is on record for doing some incredibly wonderful things in his life and having enormous talent. No question he was an extraordinary person.

As for the scandals, yes, they are there too. Whether he did the dirty deeds or not is impossible to determine for certain. What is for certain is that he put himself into some situations where he looked awfully bad.

I have had to remind my own kids repeatedly, that what you actually do is often unprovable, but to be in a foolish situation can make it look like you have done something “bad”. It is wise to avoid those situations for that reason.

If you want to know the full extent of his humanitarian work, the following link should help: [Text of H.Res.600 as Introduced in House:… OpenCongress](<a href=“OpenCongress - Track bills, votes, senators, and representatives in the U.S. Congress”>OpenCongress - Track bills, votes, senators, and representatives in the U.S. Congress).

How many of you would have left him alone with your kids? May I see a show of hands please? Anyone?

Let it go.

Well then, I’d like to get a final word in, courtesy of Jimmy Kimmel:

“What’s especially sad is that most people of a certain generation only know Michael Jackson as a crazy guy who had a lot of plastic surgery – whereas the truth is, he was not only an unbelievably talented, groundbreaking performer, he also helped break down the racial prejudice in this country. He was an extremely powerful symbol – a black performer who whites could relate to and then later in life, a white performer who blacks could relate to.”

New footage of the Pepsi Commercial where MJ’s hair caught fire - this angle really shows how brutal it was… :(

I’m an MJ fan and even I think that’s going too far. I don’t see any national holidays for Elvis Presley, or other famous American icons of the entertainment industry. The most I can see happening is a building being named after him and/or if that resolution is ever passed in the future.

I’m sick of the new channels constantly repeating this over and over in the past week. It’s just sad to watch. :(

Take a look at this:

O.M.G!

It’s the nose…Looks like they had the same plastic surgeon butcher the job.

Would have loved to have seen MJ wear an Egyptian headdress. Did he do so for one of his videos?

I didn’t see a headress on him in Remember the Time (video), but Eddie Murphy, Iman and Magic Johnson each wore one.
