<p>Lucky I left at 1 pm. Nothing was going on and the traffic was good.</p>

<p>Remember, this remains an emergency facility, so please keep the area clear. I know for some people this will be hard, but picture emergency vehicles trying to enter emergency with someone you love – they need to have a clear path.</p>

<p>I expect the Chief of Medical Staff will be out to report shortly. There are protocols and HIPAA rules that must first be addressed. Better to sit by the t.v.</p>

<p>Actually I left closer to 1:30, and apparently the police call was at ~12:30. I guess I was still there when he arrived/died.</p>

<p>Funny to watch the BBC news and see a street I had been walking down 90 minutes earlier.</p>
