How many courses are needed to meet the CMB requirements at Michigan? I counted 24 in their [url=<a href=“https://www.lsa.umich.edu/UMICH/biology/Home/Academics/Concentrations%20&%20Minors/CMB.MAJOR.pdf%5Dwebsite%5B/url”>https://www.lsa.umich.edu/UMICH/biology/Home/Academics/Concentrations%20&%20Minors/CMB.MAJOR.pdf]website[/url], but I know I must be doing something wrong b/c that’d be insane.
@BeCambridge For pre-reqs + major reqs or just major reqs? That sounds about right for pre reqs + major reqs considering the amount of pre-reqs there are, but it really isn’t that bad if you are pre-med since they are all pre-med reqs as well. And that’s also assuming you don’t have AP Credit to carry over. If you do, things can speed up quite tremendously.
Once you are a university student, it’s more about number of credit hours rather than number of courses. Below is a link that will describe it all for you. Don’t worry if it all seems like jargon for now. In orientation, they will go over what all this junk means and you will pick it up easily.
