<p>My counselor said that i should print out my essay and ask the michigan rep to take a look at it and maybe he can give me some advise on it. Would it be a good idea to do that?</p>
<p>I don’t know, the U-M rep is coming to my HS on Oct 3rd. I probably would bring my essay just in case, but I would think telling them the idea and topic of the essay and talking about it, as opposed to letting him (the one for my area is a female) read it. They will do that in a couple of weeks. Just my $0.02.</p>
<p>you probably won’t have time. I remember last year when the rep came, she just gave a speech about admissions, handed out pamphlets, and then had a QandA. At the end there was time to ask individual questions. I don’t think they would very highly on you having them read their essay because they will end up reading it again when you submit your application.</p>
