Hi, comparing Kelley at Indiana Univ and Broad at MSU? Any feedback would be most welcome. Thank you!
I have a senior at MSU, but not in Broad.
My understanding of Broad is that there are two tiers of admission - direct admission as an incoming freshman and then secondary admission once a student. A lot of students don’t get either. It is competitive and, to my knowledge, holistic so it’s not just based on GPA. I don’t know how that stacks up to Kelley.
So do your research on what a Plan B looks like if you want to go to Michigan State (or anywhere that doesn’t guarantee admission to your major of choice).
Thank you! Son is a DA to Broad. Would love to hear about your senior’s experience at MSU… What is the social culture like, academics, career placement/ internships etc. We don’t know any MSU students and would really welcome a first hand perspective. Many thanks!
