Congrats to your daughter! I think thatās the first honors invitation for MSU reported on CC this year!

Thanks! She got an email that there was an update to her honors portal so she went to her portal and there was an honors tab next to the financial aid and scholarships tab that says honors college.

Daughter got OOS acceptance today with Presidential and Study Abroad scholarships! Hoping there will be an honors invite in the coming days. (applied 10/22, 4.0, 1520, from Ohio)

My son received his EA acceptance 10/18 - he noticed it online- the letter/package came a few days later.
Stats:
GPA 3.95 (he did not take any AP classes until this year so they are not yet factored into his GPA)
SAT 1420
Was accepted into Lyman Briggs College as his major- pre-med

The website said that they will notify students in two waves - one in mid-February and another in mid-April.

Does anyone know the 2024 dates for the Alumni Distinguished Scholarship yet? Iām making my business trip schedule for travel abroad and would like to make I am available for my son when he needs me.

We attended a presentation at the university a few days ago and were told the Honors college admin were working really hard to get all the decisions out as soon as possible. The invites should start going out soon is what we were told.

My son just got into the Honors college and got the following dates for the Alumni Distinguished Scholarship weekends:
