Michigan vs. Indiana

Which undergrad accounting program is better? Ross or Kelley? Also, Indiana is much cheaper than Michigan for tuition, but is going to Ross worth the extra money for the prestige?

how do these schools accounting programs compare?

Only about 7% of Michigan business students end up in accounting. There really isn’t much emphasis in the accounting program/CPA exam. If you go to Michigan and want to do accounting, they pretty much make you get the MAcc degree after the BBA because the accounting covered at the undergrad level is not specialized enough for the CPA exam.

And regarding prestige: If you’re set on accounting, prestige doesn’t matter.
