After doing some research, I realized that both internships only allow people from the area their HQs are located.
Anyone know if they are willing to make acceptions? especially since I’m willing to pay for living expenses, etc. I just would like the expierence.

Don’t know about the Microsoft program, but the BofA program doesn’t make any living arrangements. Unless you are planning on living free of charge with family members or friends, then the cost of renting housing and paying for food is going to cost just as much as what you’d earn from the BofA program.

If you want the experience of the BofA program, you can get that in your local community. Find a nonprofit that would like a volunteer to help out over the summer. Voila–that’s what the BofA program participants are doing! You don’t get a trip to Washington DC but you do get the rest of the experience.
