Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac - When does it come out?

<p>Does anyone know when this is going to come out? I may be purchasing it, depending on how iWork and the Open-Source software works (I just ordered my MBP yesterday, so I don’t know yet if they work well).</p>

<p>I was actually looking for a specific date, which I couldn’t find through searching google… so I made this thread wondering if someone saw anywhere a specific date or even a month it comes out.</p>

<p>The Microsoft website said that they will announce the date this fall so hopefully we should find out any time now. I also searched everywhere for a specific date there isn’t one yet. I purchased 2008 in the beginning of August of this year and I am suppose to get a free update to 2011 when it comes out. So I would like to know the date myself so I can make sure I receive the update as promised. Hope this helps :)</p>
