mid-smaller undergrad engineering ME,BME project based learning

I am looking for a mid size engineering program that is inovative in teaching to undergrads. Not a typical large U. with lots of liberal arts requirements.

I have some LD in the area of reading comp…but am great w/ sciences, math and project based learning. I think I would like to focus on ME or possibly BME and also do internships and coop learning if it is possible.

While I live in California and will be applying to Cal Poly, and the UC’s and cal State schools .

I would love some recommendations for others. Christian would be o.k. …access to outdoor rec is mor important thana intense urban setting.

I have a 4.0 , lots of community service, and am also interested in appling to rotc or afrotc.

My SAT’s are not top tier however.

My son is looking for the same.

I am no expert in engineering, but you might want to look at Loyola Marymount and Santa Clara and maybe Whitworth ( not especially warm) , University of the Pacific, and Point Loma Nazarene. As long as you don’t “take my son’s spot”. ( smile)

You might want to look into Olin, Harvey Mudd, and Rose Hulman.

But Mudd has the highest mid 50 SAT’s I’ve ever seen!

Their mid 50 math is 740-790!

Wow! Olin’s is 740-800!
