So, I’m an international student from Saudi Arabia who’s a senior this year. I applied to about twenty universities in the US, including all of the ivies.
I was just wondering, if in the first 3 years of high school, your grades gradually increase but then first sem senior year they deteriorate a little, would that be a problem?
Last year my average was an A- but now its a B+ and I’m taking an extra AP class.
It’s just been really hectic for me this year since I am editor in chief of my school paper, head of the fundraising committee and I also had to retake the SAT and ACT. I also had to do 3 SAT subject tests and the TOEFL along with applying to my twenty schools. This year has been one hell of a year; definitely my busiest in my HS career.
Also, the grades that aren’t great are the ones that are inconsequential. I received good grades in all of my tough classes such as AP Calc, AP Comp Sci, AP Micro Econ, Physics and Biology. However, I got bad grades in Arabic and Islamic Education (Religion).
I’m just wondering if these two subjects will hurt me?
