Mid-Year Reports

If I was admitted under Early Action, do I still need to send in a Mid-Year Report, or just a final transcript? Thanks!

Nope, just a final transcript. If you look on the Mid-Year Report form, it says that mid-year grades are not required to students admitted under the Early Action plan. :)

the early action plan is the BEST way to apply.

Unless you get deferred…:stuck_out_tongue: {{raises hand}}

lmao. dont feel bad. rod youre from chiacago and u wanna go to uga?? u dont wanna go to u chicago? its a good school. well…i can understand u dont wanna stay in state and definately not in the same city. but is that the only reason?

Well, I was accepted at UIUC and Miami University (Ohio), so it’s not like an in-state school or midwestern school is out of the question (I’m definitely happy to have those two to fall back on :)), but I really want to get out of the midwest and head south. I was born in Tennessee and lived there for quite awhile…and I miss it. Not so much Tennessee, but definitely the south. If it was just a matter of going out of state, I’d be at Miami (Ohio) in a heartbeat…but I do have other reasons. ;)

thats so funny that miami is in ohio. but anywayz. yea i was born in the midwest too. in ohio ironically. and i think im in the same boat youre in. i want to get out of the south. im not headed back to the miswest. the school im going to is up north (check my sn) but i did get into uga. i knew that if i didnt get into syracuse id prolly be going to uga. but dont u think that if youre in a school u dont want to be at, that your work will show it? like…if im at uga and i kno i dont want to be there i wont work as hard as i would if i was at the college i really wanted to go to. do you think you would do something like that?

Honestly, I think that once you choose a school, you need to forget about any other options you might have had. I said the same kind of thing to my mom…I was worried that I’d choose the wrong school, or that I’d choose one school, get sick of waiting to hear from another, and then regret that I had made the decision I had. She basically told me that I can’t do that. Once you’ve made your decision, that’s it…there’s no point in wondering what could have been different.
