<p>How much of a drop in grades during mid year reports is considered a “red flag” or a reason for admissions counselors to reject an applicant?</p>

<p>Let’s assume that the senior is taking a very challenging course load with many AP’s. ;)</p>

<p>It would depend on the nature of the grade drops, with regards to both severity and dispersal of bad grades. A couple Bs in two classes that had nothing to do with your major wouldn’t be too bad, but getting nothing other than Bs all around could be detrimental.</p>
