<p>What are your “saftey” schools?
Besides the ivies and state schools, what are some other prestigious (in-between) schools to apply to? Basically, what are the other options for someone who needs merit scholarship? (my parents have agreed to only pay that much $ for an ivy)</p>
<p>Boston College and Washington University in St. Louis offer merit scholarships. WashU has a scholarship (Ervins, I think) specifically for black citizens and others for certain subject areas.</p>
