Hi everyone! I’m a high school senior and am most likely going to attend UCI. I have heard may different opinions on housing so I wanted to ask. I’m an out of state students and I will be dorming at UCI so what dorm would be best for me? I am very sociable and have heard that Mesa Court is more lively. Also, are the towers really better than classic housing? I’m not sure if I would like living in a quad. Thank you!!

hii! im a current first year at uci, but im dorming in mesa towers so i definitely have a biased opinion. the majority of ppl ive met is from mesa court but ive met a decent amount of middle earth residents too. but honest to god it fully depends on your specific hall and how sociable you are. i know nearly everyone in my hall, but i have a friend (in the towers as well) that doesn’t even know her suitmates. mesa court specifically though, i think the towers are super chill, but the classics are chill too. the classics in lower mesa are suuper nice though. when i came here i heard the classics were absolute garbage, but they’re honestly not that bad (but i also don’t live there so i dont have the full picture). i was also scared of living in a quad, but my roommates and i get along super well so its super chill, and the room is kinda sectioned off so we have our own spaces, and i really only see all of them in the morning or at night.
