<p>Do keep in mind the difference between Davidson as post #21 describes it (I don’t know whether it’s true or not, mind) and a school where “politically moderate” is a majority (Centre, for instance, is true to its name). Being split between two extremes, like Hamilton, can be middle of the road; but that middle feels very different than a statistically equivalent middle composed of people standing in the middle rather than people being pushed into each other.</p>
